Our Story

Who Cares, I Care, Inc.

Born from lived experience, radical compassion, and the belief that every single life has immeasurable worth.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide motivational speaking and empowerment services, within the LGBTQIA+ community and beyond. While helping connect, educate and invite them to the mental health and therapy services available. Changing one life at a time.

Our Vision: A world where no one feels so alone, so unseen, or so hopeless that they believe ending their life is the only option.

Radical Compassion

We meet every person exactly where they are — without judgment, without conditions.

Community First

Everything we do centers the voices, needs, and brilliance of the LGBTQIA+ community.

Lived Experience

Our programs are built by and for people who have walked through the fire and come out the other side.

Intersectionality

We honor the full complexity of identity — race, gender, sexuality, class, and beyond.

Meet the Founder

Dennis Williams

Dennis Williams is a survivor, advocate, motivational speaker, and the visionary founder of Who Cares, I Care, Inc.

Dennis began his career in the performing arts, using theater and movement as tools for storytelling and healing. His work on stage gave him a platform — and a purpose.

After surviving a suicide attempt at the Hudson River, Dennis transformed his deepest pain into a life-changing mission. He created Who Cares, I Care, Inc. to ensure that no one in the LGBTQIA+ community would ever feel as alone as he once did.

Since founding WCIC, Dennis has delivered his From Pain to Purpose program to schools, community centers, and organizations across New York City — reaching thousands of young people and adults with a message of hope, resilience, and belonging.

"I survived so I could show others that they can too. Every life matters. Every story matters. You matter."
